Virgilio Pa-Ilona – Virgilio’s desire to provide financial sustainability for himself and his fellows led to the establishment of VST Tailor and Design (VSE Innovations), a business offering pants and barong, coats, curtains, and school and office uniforms.

Hope for others

After resigning from his previous job as project assistant/area manager, Virgilio Pa-ilona faced financial difficulties. This was his primary motivation to put up his own business. However, apart from that, in his heart, he also wanted to help his fellow church members.

The VST Tailor and Design (VSE Innovations) business was established out of the desire to have financial sustainability for himself and for his fellows by giving them employment. Despite his intentions, his business was not spared from problems. Virgilio admitted he had no direction. But through the CMDC program, “I was enlightened,” expressed Virgilio. He was also enjoying while learning. His most valuable learnings were on production, inventory, budgeting and maximizing capital. These he wanted to use as he hopes to become known in the industry as a manufacturer of affordable yet quality products and designs nationwide. He also realized the importance of increasing his people’s competence; hence, he will continue to equip them with his newfound knowledge in business making.
